No third-party software is required

Backup Platinum fully supports writing to any type of disc media from old-fashioned CDs to modern Blu-Ray discs. More specifically, you can use any of the following ones: CDR, CDRW, DVD-R, DVD+R, DVD-RW, DVD+RW, BD-R or BD-RE.

You only need to have a corresponding writing hardware in your system. No additional third party software is required. Backup Platinum creates ISO images and burns them directly to the media.

Large backups can be automatically split to several parts and stored on several discs. When you restore files from such backups the program tells you which disc to insert in order to proceed. Number of span is added to the volume label of each disc. You can specify this label for each backup as well.

If you do not want to spend the whole disc for backup purposes, you can specify a folder on it to store your data. At the same time you can use the remaining disc space for any other files.

We also have a number of options common for disc burning software, such as quick or full erase for rewritable media, writing speed selection and CRC check for data safety.
