E-Mail Notifications
Here you can set the program to notify you on finishing operations with your
items.
Use e-mail
notifications: Check this box if you want to use e-mail notifications
for any of your items.
SMTP server: Enter the name of SMTP
server.
Port: Enter the server port. Its
default value is 25.
Authenticate on SMTP server:
Enables to authenticate on SMTP server that requires authorization.
Enter your account credentials: Account and Password.
From:
Specify here the address on behalf of which notifications will be sent.
Note that the address should be supported by the specified SMTP server.
To: Enter e-mail address of the
notifications receiver. You can enter several e-mail addresses separated by commas.
Subject: Here you can edit message subject.
Body: Click the "Edit Message Body..." button if you want to edit
the default message body. "Notification Message Body" dialog will appear.

Attach item log to the notification message: If you check this option,
then the log file of the last operation (last executed item) will be zipped and
attached to e-mail notification. |
Send Test Message..: Click this
button to test your e-mail settings. Backup Platinum will send a test message
using the settings you have specified.
Upon defining the settings on this tab, you need to set notification type
for each item. For this, click "OK" and close the "Settings" dialog,
select an item in Items View, click the "Edit Item" button
and in the displayed "Item Properties" dialog, go to the "Actions" tab
and select the necessary notification type.
